Problem one button (FIFA 19)

Hello! In the game as far as I know there is a mode control button( type button on the controller And is responsible for everything: pass, shot, and so on), so my question is why do I even if is my own layout control when I start any match I can only use one button as if I chose the one-button control ? Whether there was at whom, and how to fix it ? Play is not possible
