Every game ME you can change the viewing angle. And in every part of it is done in a different way. I did like here, everything is correctly described:

http://hamstergene.wordpress.com/2012/05/13/how-to-fix-fov-in-mass-effect-23

P. S. For resolution of 1600*900 best of 90 degrees.

To increase range you will need to open with Notepad the file BIOInput.ini which is in documents, namely in C:\Users\User\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect\Config. Next you need to find in this place [BIOC_Base.BioPlayerInput] and paste below this line Bindings=(Name=Capslock,Command=set BioCameraBehaviorFollow CAMERA_FOV 111 | set BioCameraBehaviorZoom CAMERA_FOV 111)
In order to change the range of visibility, you need to load the game and press Caps Lock. The visibility character is from the heels (111) and not from the ass (75), as is the default.

The game was created with an emphasis on monitors 4:3. Because there are more advanced settings for 16:9, etc. So that the range of visibility can only be changed by the script.
