Installed on the SSD? (Metro Exodus)
Does it make sense and will it improve performance on my laptop is i7 3630qm, 8gb RAM, gtx 880m(8gb) ? now the game is on the hdd had only the initial mission to include and was seen drawdowns fps before and after cut-scenes. I think to reinstall on the ssd, what do you think about this?xF1x
I put on SSD and HDD , no difference noticed . But removed MicroProse in the game by disabling the steam overlay ingeym and put maximum pre rendered frames to 1 in NVIDIA panel .
treffff
This setup - the Maximum number of pre-prepared frames - staim a value of 4 for a powerful PC, less for weak (this value is pre-prepared frames the CPU before processing by the graphic processor.).
Look in the tab panel NVIDIA Manage 3D settings, and there are Software settings to a specific game, if you want to leave the rest default. As I understand it, there is for a virtual reality helmet including (separately that is).

Stimovsky overlay. It runs and turns off just the incentive. No steam, no issue with the overlay, there is nothing to disable.
SSD will be faster load of locations and save. Metro did not check on the HDD, but many (not all) games on the SSD are significantly better. Especially if the game is demanding to the disk speed. Plus I have too little memory, so the swap file is installed on tverdotel. The performance noticeably increased
Initially put the game on HDD, later came to regret:) it was a wild freezes when download location, or loading a save. Also in the cut scenes was just fierce Friesians. Put the game on a new but already on the SSD, everything is just gone. Everything loads quickly and frieze brand. Of course there are still other components depend on, but if the PC is powerful but the game frieze, mandatory SSD. But IMHO playing games with such locations on the HDD delirium, constant loading of textures is frozen. And if memory is not enough, then from there wild and friezes.
but to play games with such locations on the HDD nonsense
No, nonsense you. All the Open world games I have on HDD are fine. Here is a download of the locations on the SSD faster, it is a fact. And that's all. ))
PS And Metro Exodus, I have on the HDD, works fine.

Because like I said, not only from the SSD, it all depends. Read carefully. I have on the old HDD friezes were wild. Maybe even it was the fact that my HDD already the floor dead with beaten sectors, and will live probably a couple of months. Maybe in this case. But the fact is that after I transfer games to an SSD got rid of all Frisians who were before. Each in different ways. somebody did the game start and could not hit.

Well, the flights couldn't have been the HDD. By the way, you format your HDD low level formatting. All broken sector tsukuda. However the process is long. But the drive will live a long life.
Report, installed it on the ssd friezes disappeared, the game became nicer, but still is pseudo open world really feels better on the ssd, not to say that it was impossible to play on the hdd but the ssd is still much nicer, my advice is put on the ssd, there are no patches for optimization)
