video won't play (Gothic 2)
the same problem in G1 and G2 night of the Ravenvideo playback is black screen with sound
tried to change the settings scalevideo c 0 to 1 and Vice versa
to demolish and put a new game but does not help

Please create a restore point I had problems from the set of codecs.
Googling a codec pack, if you select K-Lite Codec Pack, install Basic.

K-Lite Codec Pack. Just download and install - anywhere specifically do not want to set
