Screen resolution (Risen 2: Dark Waters)

Guys, I have a problem in the game
Risen 2: Dark Waters, I want to put a 640 by 480 in game settings max resolution 800 x 600, I tried using the root file Config.User.xml did, went in game and again with a big screen. What do I do?
