Crash when loading after installing the patch 1.1.3.0 on a license from 1C (Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City)

Installed on the licensed version of Episodes from Liberty City from 1C latest patch 1.1.3.0. The game crashes when loading both supplements. What could be the problem? While a similar patch for the original GTA IV is easily installed on a license from 1C.
