Can't collect plants (The Witcher)

Hello!Don't know whether there are still people on this forum,but I will describe my problem.I can't collect plants,they are not even highlighted when pressing the Alt.With all the books, read about plants,but nothing helped.If in the initial chapters, I didn't realize this,but now me is very annoying.You want to beat the game 100% and it will not work without a herbal.Passed the first time the pirates and everything was fine,now I have a license purchased on Steam and here such trouble.I'd be grateful to anyone who responds
