Keen eye (Red Dead Redemption 2)

Hello! Help to clarify one point. During activation, the good eye (time slows down), it should be noted shot at the enemy by pressing R1 (playing on PS4). But I had during my good eye shots are marked automatically. That is just if the cursor is on the enemy, it is observed on several shots. As it should be or I something not understand?
