Update do not have,or at least can see what version of the BIOS and look at the Ausa website that is added in the latest version of BIOS for your motherboard.

PS
That will need to make the change vidyahu,so it's a clean install of firewood for some.

The BIOS of any motherboard is to update at least 1 time per year. Even if you do not upgrade the iron. In updates, no, Yes, sometimes, that raise stability and other stuff.

I had a case a few years ago on the motherboard MSI P67A-C43 (B3), and so, then bought a GTX 970 before this was a GTX 670 plugged in, no picture, turns out I had to update the BIOS to the latest version, updated and it worked. At that time, those supporting this motherboard wrote that we need the latest BIOS for the 970 video cards.

the same situation was, as the user above;
stuck the clip, turn on the computer, if the BIOS doesn't go, already updated, the procedure is simple - just go to the manufacturers website, to drive your motherboard, download the executable, but to run (of course, putting the old clip, so on BIOS it went)

The main thing that Monica was at least DVI, since analog is not supported as Pascal and of course the VGA connector

Yeah for some reason I had to reset the BIOS when I instead put the GTX 780 to the GTX 1070. With nothing connected I can not understand but without resetting the BIOS the system simply is not launched.

Never upgrade the BIOS, until the kiss. Only in extreme cases.

to update the BIOS of the motherboard, if it works, not just unnecessary, but also stupid

Actually to update the BIOS via UEFI is as simple as using the utility. The only thing you need is uninterrupted power. And the hands and the brain must be included.
