Virus povredili (changed format)

On the external hard drive, once gave a friend on the trip, was picked up by the virus. Just found out about this when my antivirusnik cried out memos about the threat. Was treated repeatedly with reboots. The most interesting, changed formats to rtf,. doc,. pdf extensions. (just know that the file was in the folder) Changed to the previous format, and it doesn't open. It is not found the path to the file, then open with administrator rights...Than they can be raspiraet, open or treat? Have the right data. in particular the presentation made in PowerPoint.

Perhaps the virus didn't just change the extension of file and encrypt them, then they can be considered lost forever.

dmitrij.kloshov Agree, if its encrypted, then wait for 10 years may find the algorithms in the antivirus field.
It is hoped that the file was just going to puridet...but do not expect much, try online recovery powerpoint: https://powerpoint.recoverytoolbox.com/online/ru/

So the files are encrypted on an external drive or screw comp? Disable autorun from removable media not tried?
