Download - Anno 1404 utility to edit a data file rda PG - RDAExplorerGUI.exe
To install in any convenient location. Better in the modified folder of the game.

Unpack
On your desktop create folder patch0
Now to unpack there patch0.rda of addon modifiable games.
Start RDAExplorerGUI.exe .

Menu-File-Open - patch0.rda(from addon modifiable games).
Menu-Tools-Extract All to the folder patch0 on the desktop.

Make changes in files. To do this, open the txt files and xml Notepad.

Pack
Menu - Tools - Add Folder As Root - choose the folder you would like to pack (in our case patch0 on the desktop)
Menu - File - Save as - Choose a folder and a file in it, which will be replaced.
In our case, the Modified game\addon\patch0.rda.


The structure of the game

1 - patch0\data\loca\rus\txt\guids.txt is the main file. In it all objects(almost all) that are in the game, has a name and each name - numeric identifier.

2 - patch0\addondata\config\game\assets.xml file of object descriptions. For example, the speed, the strength of the ships, etc. there are no names to find the object you need a digital ID from guids.txt.

3 - patch0\addondata\config\game\icons.xml this icons of all the objects - number of icons - number of file icons. An appeal is the digital ID from guids.txt.

4 - patch0\addondata\config\features\features.xml file describing the different boosters - quality canvas, sturdy shells, etc. an appeal is the digital ID from guids.txt.

5 - patch0\addondata\config\game\properties.xml - a description of some object properties, such as the location of icons in the construction menu. An appeal is the digital ID from guids.txt.

6 - patch0\data\loca\rus\txt\interface.txt - associated with properties.xml through the secondary digital ID.
Specifies a description string in patch0\data\loca\rus\txt\tt_normal.txt. If you're in the game the mouse cursor on the icon in the construction menu, a tooltip will appear that of tt_normal.txt.

7 - patch0\data\loca\rus\txt\tt_pressed.txt - same thing when you click LMB on the icon in the construction menu.

8 - patch0\data\loca\rus\txt\tt_disabled.txt - mouseover will show in the construction menu,(if the icon is not active), why not build the object.
