Why the enclave tried to overcome the purifier? (Fallout 3)
Don't remember the quest name, it dad gg blows himself up and General enclave, then HS displays a group of people to the citadel. Attention a question - why the enclave wanted to take the project if the project would have all the water cleared? why down dad blew himself up if the enclave could also purify the water? The enclave wanted the purifier to spray through his version of the FEV, thereby killing all the mutated and radioactive creatures.

...the vehicle would not pass the game, where it's all explained in the course of a further passage, not to produce threads on Pehe?
as mentioned above, the Enclave tried using the cleaner drink all the riff-raff of the wasteland (like mutants and raiders) FEV infected water, but in spite of all the other innocent creatures, who would also drink water from the Purifier.
Yes, the father in this plan is really down, not allowed to rotate, think that half of the already dead wasteland will die xD

Well, a modified version of the virus would have produced the selection, leaving only the people who didn't get mutations. Evolution - just the same, and there are a selection of individuals, able to survive and produce offspring in a particular environment.

Yes... the only difference is that evolution is nature, and here would be completely artificial selection ;] And not natural.
Mutants gotta get physically destroying everyone. Raiders is another question. When people go crazy and start to do terrible bloody lewdness, it is possible to raise the question of their psyche and why she's so...
The plot of Fallout 2, by the way, almost the same as here: the Enclave and its head in the person of the President wants to spread the virus across the Heath. Same story, just Elect another (not from Shelters)...
