How to launch GTA 5 for discrete graphics card AMD [solution] (Grand Theft Auto 5)
At the moment there are several ways to run GTA 5 on a Discrete card (AMD). With Nvidia, the situation was solved by the second patch. If Nvidia and you have problems, you will help reinstalling drivers on 335.1.So the most secure and optimal method 1:
1). Update, reinstalling Windows 7, 8, 8.1 to version 10. The fact that the game supports only WDDM 2.0 resources.
It is important to remember. If your video card is not present in this list, the reinstallation of the Windows 10 version will not help. 5). Run again. While only a black screen is displayed(before flashing lights), plug the power supply cord. Using GPU monitor eats the game resources of the AMD. Repeat until the game will not run on AMD
A more secure option. In the CAS settings on the switch. graphics. Put the energy saving and run the launcher. A horn to time the energy saving to high performance. As soon as black screen appears. Click apply.

Try GTA 5 with hot fix. Still the only working way for me. Only works on 3DM. RELOADED is not supported!
I put windows 10 and it worked finally. Video 7660G+7670m. Previously had 512MB now 2500+. firewood 15.4. here only big minus is that the texture is missing, not normally play. Many settings set to high. 30фпс

I didn't get to try since demolished 10-ku (the Internet was not working on it for some reason). well I percent of the same RAM, only 8 gig. now GTA and so runs on its built-in and outputs 1 gig of available memory..all on minimum salary and textures is no problem, but 15-20 fps is not a thing(

well, I have had no problems with textures when 7-ka stood. I normally play shadows turned off, but still not comfortable. 8GB with factory cost, or did you change it?

Set the root of the game.
If you have earned a game when you install this program, so don't bother with running the game (first, then start it), I suggest you do this:
1) go to properties Laucher.exe and GTA5Hotfix_x64.exe and tick to run as administrator
2) Create a new file in Notepad, write there the following lines (Only if you have crack from 3DM):
@ECHO OFF
START Launcher.exe
ping 127.0.0.1-n 5 >nul
START GTA5Hotfix_x64.exe
call it RunGTA5 and change its format .txt on .bat (should look like this: RunGTA5.bat) and put it in the root folder with the game.
Now create a shortcut, call it as you wish and specify this file for the shortcut!
Run game will be 2-3 minutes in full screen Alt + tab
There is 1 minus - when changing graphics settings, the game requires a restart and after the consent to restart (otherwise the settings will not change), the game freezes. Wait a minute, then cut down GTA5.exe using the task Manager, well, then close hotfix. When you next start the game the graphics settings are already changed!
During the game Hotfix to disable is not worth it! You never know :)
Also, just in case I recommend
1) Increase the paging file up to 15-20 GB
2) update all drivers from graphics card
(Especially for AMD graphics cards. I suggest to put the version 14.12 AMD and then upgrade to 15.4, everything except the AMD Control Center. If the Control Center does not work - tear it down and put the Control Center from 15.4)
3) make Sure the path to the folder with the game, as your user name is written in English
4) check again that everything is run as administrator
5) check again that the Internet access blocked by firewall for file GTA5.exe

I with this laptop is already so much hardship. He's kind of powerful graphics card of the penultimate generation, but it slows down. I think the problem is that it overheats (especially when I start GTA 5 - hot even under the keys). I once by setting AMD Overdrive dispersed fan, but after the patch it stopped working.
You know, like FPS lags at certain points. I have so in World Of Tanks. Play is 30-40 FPS. Then hop! And sags up to 18-25, and on any graphics settings it does not. I'm just using it tried Space Engineers on the ssd to run in order for large buildings the game did not freeze. My FPS while riding falls somewhere to 18-20, but it's just unbearable! Especially when the street is filled with cars or do you quickly go.
