Playstation 4 and a custom monitor is 16:10 (1920x1200)
Good day!I plan to buy myself a ps4 and connect it to the monitor 16:10 (Benq BL2411). The difficulties begin with the fact that the monitor has no hdmi output, but this is quickly solved by buying an adapter on DVI. To monitor planned at the same time connect the PC (via DisplayPort) and Sonya (adapter), and switch 2 with action on the monitor.
But then it dawned on me: Sony always uses the 16:9 format, and I suspect that because of the custom resolution my monitor will either be artifacts, or everything will be automatically stretched.
Is there anyone here who either knows what he's doing PS4 with custom permissions, or who just hooked up PS4 with similar monitors? If you can, throw the pictures from the game some)
And Yes, the Internet is not found any video or pics like this...

Good time. I have the same monitor and the same question) Think about purchasing a PS4. As you have in the end, everyone just decided?

there is a third option - black stripes
Once I tried to connect the third Curling to the monitor 16:10 without hdmi via an adapter, the result was, to put it mildly, not very. Starting with the black bars for non-standard aspect ratio, and ending with extremely soapy, fuzzy image.
You have a TV in the house no? Strangely, I have in the house 3 LCD telly though to some plug.
as a PA I with black bands are normal. kinematografichny not tapered-but stretched
but on ultrawide curved monitor probably would be no very

I'd be happy if the black stripes, but as I understand this monitor is an unattainable result, progress)
certainly an interesting question that will make the console non-standard resolution. about the idea if the figure then most likely it should fit on the minimum length of those strips without breaking the aspect ratio. however, if the monitor is old and only works in RGB color and the console is there in a certain format, where color is encoded using a single channel on the remaining lower resolution and then rezultatet can be very unpredictable.
the last console in 4x3 analog connection and a few ate the edge

I wonder how the problem in the end decided (or not decided) TeMNick. Never thought I'd find someone just like my situation)

What nonsense. Past the console was working in 720p, in 1080p they worked through apskeyl, and only in the analog 4:3 to eat nothing could not in principle.

On sonallah this problem was not there. Even if the chance arises such problems, the earth will fly the celestial axis, anything can happen, that is, setting the angle of view and safe zones.
The same situation, Dell monitor U2412M 16:10,in the absence of the TV, connected using HDMI to DVI. The picture is stretched, would be better if the black bars were

So the problem is probably in this, and not that themselves sonali do not work with non-standard resolution? The third Tong is still lying, works fine with the monitor via HDMI.

Well, the question is not abstract, but concrete. There are bl2411pt, which has no HDMI, and an aspect ratio of 16:10. And it is (or rather, not yet) the PS4. Dear experts, and more text.
In short, I was like the only one who has all the cards together. Monique 16:10 hdmi and Curling , the General theme is the same as that and with Dvi stretches the image. So it's not you it that do not know.
well then out - buy the capture card type image ELGATO GAME CAPTURE HD60 PRO via hdimi and game console via Pitch
