Look at the menu monitor volume, a conclusion can be put, I also have a NEC display solutions GmbH. I tried to connect via the monitor's input from zvukovojj (3,5 Jacoby adapter was included), headphones via the monitor output. The sound was quiet.

But in case you don't have or what the audio output on the front panel,in a pinch you can buy an extension cable.

Read the instruction from the monitor, nothing extraordinary there. You have the volume menu on the monitor at 100% is?.

Must be HDMI! The sound from the speakers of the monitor? If the sound from the speakers of the monitor, then when you connect headphones, the sound should be!
Maybe you're not in the plug in stuck (have in black)?
If there is no sound in the speakers of the monitor, then conjure in the playback device, choose your monitor, or digital HDMI audio.

Sound from his speakers monitor goes! When you connect headphones, the sound should automatically switch to headphones. And here the driver?

Well then, the audio cable plug into the monitor (green AUDIO IN Jack, included), and plug your headphones into the audio output (black) monitor. Only put in the menu of the monitor sound source of the AUDIO IN. I with this connection the sound was very quiet. If will not work, you might have a defective audio Jack on the monitor.
Strange, but you're supposed to work!

Switch the sound to the headphones is the Jack that the headphones are stuck.
Accordingly, the earphone plug is not included in the socket or the socket itself is faulty.

I have green this is the entrance (to plug the cable from the audio ), black or blue output (headphone) . Where you used to stick the earphones, maybe just not in the connector?
