Delete the settings file the game user.ltx, which is the path specified by $app_data_root$ in the fsgame.ltx;
Launch the game and configure the graphics options. So will create a new user.ltx.
If the modification contains an incorrect file rspec_*.ltx with graphics presets (in the folder gamedata\configs or there, but in *.db/*.xdb-files).
In this case, you must delete files presets. Either:
Temporarily move the modification from the root directory of the game;
Make clean user.ltx by launching the original game and setting the graphics in it.
Bring back modification back and play.

This I completely agree with M5SG0C try to do as he said. Well and if did not help then reinstall shakey or download from another site.
Well, if you got mod crashes, so why are you parish? Delete the mod, and it works.
And it is better to switch on the lights which works. But yeah I want to play with nice graphics, but better do so and there will be no problems!
