Download The installer unpacks the files to a location of your choice.You then open the folder and find the DXSETP.exe and run that to reinstall DirectX.
Once the reinstall is complete you can delete the folder the files were unpacked to.

1) run appwiz.cpl (or in control panel, open programs and features)
2) in the left column to select the third row to enable or disable Windows features
3) look for and mark with a tick legacy applications and submenus DirectPlay

maybe so.

everything was marked, but will not start, I think the problem is executing the executable

Maybe after the first install does not work...
