Does it make sense to take a license? (Age of Empires 2 HD)

Apply only to holders of a license from Steam. So I think to take litsuhu with additions, and it got slant pirates, where nothing works, partially. License in Steam everything works fine? The lag is resolved or still the game stops when the computer will get upset and a lot of people on the map? And most importantly, does the LAN? Because I play it either solo or with a friend via LAN (not Internet!)
And yet, periodically, face patches, and what they change?

Honestly,very worth it, because:
1. Works much faster,smoother and more stable than the Repack.
2. In advance will receive new patches that have a lot of New add on campaign maps and are significantly altering the balance of the game and remove bugs. And Yes,they come out so far.
3. It is possible to put the Beta patches. By the way,here already 22 Feb 2018 released a new,the game becomes with it version 5.7.25 (5.7.hotsfix 1.0).
4. And Yes,after many patches, multiplayer works very stable (especially starting with version 5.00 and above).
So you can buy, there is just now no, now, after 5 years finally bought with all the DLC.

I bought the license because of: workshop, multiplayer, achievements, and DLC.
Satisfied.
