player beacon - ray player (Rise of the Tomb Raider)

In the guide to survival last item is the ability to mark any object on the map ray (player beacon), so that when you press the Q ie (Survival instincts) this mark must be displayed as a blue column of light.
No matter how much I tried, just clicking, clicking while holding the buttons resname - nothing comes out.
