Reinstall codecs (K-Lite Codec download). All videos in the game offer any"all in one a player such as PotPlayer, KMPlayer - so special they don't need codecs (K-Lite contains them).

Then try a different pill if the pirated version of the game (V1,V2 or V3). While it may be that your PC is too weak for the game - due to the fact that during playback of clips loaded game resources may not be enough to sync the video+sound going on and you mentioned it. Even as an option, try the paging file to put to yourself - if it's not worth it.
