games only works on DX9 (Mortal Kombat (2011))

Hi all, I have a game only works on DirectX 9 although the minimum system requirements required DX10 and recommended DX11, is there any way to switch to a newer version of DirectX? (p.s. vidyuhi supports all the new DirectX)
