Conservation (Dragon Age 2)

The first time you start to take the second part, I want to import saves from the first and found that the last save in origins made in the tower before the battle with arhidemon. In this case what will happen to Alistair ? because in the final I had to choose Alistair die or the main character

Go to the folder with the saves and find the last AutoSave(date and time) and load

There is just the last AutoSave before the battle

As I recall Alistair will survive and your band of characters to meet with him in the plot.
(just remind you of the merit of your character from last of a series of adventures but in the third person).
I just played it and the first part under the net and my whole group did with the dragon,and after the coronation I was sent your way.
It turns out that the plot of the second part of the outcome of the battle is not important.

In my opinion there is about the part of decisions made in Dao will tell you either immediately when you import saves ,either in the introduction and the beginning of the first Chapter
