The problem with running the game version 1.3 on Vista is solved in the following way:
Go control Panel --> Languages and regional settings --> Select the tab Advanced
Then click Change language and select English(US), restart your computer!
After that, Vista language from Russian to English does NOT change, and the game runs, checked it myself.

GRID Executable does not work. If you have connected a second monitor or TV, then you need to disable it in the graphics card drivers. After that, the error disappears and the game works.
I have this crap popping up when you try to run the game on the projector.
Tried disabling the monitor.
Games that run in windowed mode (e.g. F1 2010) are displayed on a projector without problems.
When hooked up the projector through VGA cable, it worked! However, this is not a solution to the problem. I have the projector connected via HDMI
Was error GRID Executable.Off of the torrent network did not help.So I decided:in the game folder looking for the system and delete from there hardware_settings_restrictions + off the Internet(or firewall puts a block).And that's all.All immediately went.
