Advise monitor with a resolution of 2K

The point is to take an expensive/good Monitor without paying over 4K.
IPS 120g all .

go to e-catalog some filter models the characteristics of them and already choose what afford. If you put 2K, 144 Hz, IPS, matte screen, 27 inches, then a total of three models coming out. So much to choose from what will be.

In General, in my opinion, it is better to take 4K for the future.

scaling to put a little smaller and less resource-intensive option, the religion does not allow?

Soap will. But even if you take 4K it is necessary to take with HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 2.1.
Now at this resolution, the channels become clogged and it is very much not supported.
Dynamic HDR, according to official data of the HDMI standard, can be made only via HDMI 2.1. While manufacturers of televisions/monitors claim that top models have support for dynamic HDR (Dolby Vision, HDR10 +
The thing is that HDMI 2.1 only then called when the connector has all the features that it claimed. Firms use only part of the options HDMI 2.1 (not to pay extra for the certification). It turns out that some HDMI 2.0 there are options for Dolby Vision, HDR10 + but the interface is not the name of the HDMI 2.1. Content with Dolby Vision, you can play with players that have support for Dolby Vision. As for the other, the major streaming sources, with such content are iTunes and Netflix. There's also an option to search content in Dolby Vision, HDR10 + on YouTube.
Incorporate the new standards do not interfere.
The only problem is that 4K is necessary for nobody, because all the old content, including 1080p on 4K looks like shit, soap.
hdmi 2.0 completely covers 1080p 120hz, and there's nothing to improve.
Realizing this, the manufacturers are in collusion at the dawn one and all, stop releasing FullHD matrix, and begin to rivet 4K crap that interface is not ready, and no content, and it looks sad compared to FullHD.
