I think parallel to the events of CL.
The Zephyr is a portal, but the events in the game (Portal) happen in a lab, because Chell is thrown on the surface somewhere near the forest, and the Northwind in ice. So maybe even sooner if the gun was in one piece.

In the Portal of the events taking place in the early 2000-ies immediately after the incident at Black Mesa.
Ie before the events of HL2 somewhere ~ 20 -15 years
Caught signals are not what are not it's just a mystery from Valve before the announcement of 2nd part

GLaDOS launched in 2001. Play prelude, where one of the observers of the tests says"I do not understand how they managed to create these balls, because now 2001 not 3001 year!

if the prelude is not official , then PTS is beautifully made.... on the gameplay not agree, but the sound is gorgeous, the plot too, and the ending is nice, I would not say that fans wrote it

I agree, the action takes place around our time somewhere , but after the disaster at black Mesa

probably in 2004 or in 2006, but the events of Portal 2 occur in exactly the 2204 (which is also 200 years slept))

Keighley, Geoff: The Final Hours of Portal 2, Chapter 8:

page 4: Portal 1 took place somewhere around the year 2010, between the events of Half-Life 1 and 2 (the events of Portal take place around 2010, between the events of HL1 and HL2).

page 6: One way to further differentiate Portal and Half-Life was to set the game far into the future --- at least 50,000 years. (The only way to share the events of Portal and HL had to send the game away in future years 50 000).

page 6: ...Aperture circa 52,000 AD (aperture of approximately 52 000 a year).

Finish with this nonsense about 100 and 200 years. There by the thousands))

I think that the events of portal takes place just before the beginning of the seven hour war, remember that in the end of the sky starts to pour the burning wreckage. And it is a hint

The events of Half-Life occur in any year from 2000 to 2009, events Portal in 2010, the events of Half-Life 2 in any year from 2020 to 2029. About Portal 2 is not very clear. Either a few years or a couple of hundred years.

no, the events of half-life occur in 1991, if you didn't know, and half-life 2 in about 25 years

The events in black Mesa occur in the zero years. If you look closely at the calendar on the wall (December 1 falls on a Saturday), it turns out that in 2002.

No, I slept for about 50 years. I told Mel that woke me up in 2056 when off the LEASH

Portal Stories: Mel is a fan add-on and has nothing to do with the original Portal game branch. Also due to the fact that the entire Laboratory was falling apart (When the Whitley module wakes us up), the cryochamber systems went out of order (Wheatley told us about this in plain text) and it is because of this that the announcer says that we slept for 9999999 ... days. (Because he doesn't know how long we slept, so he named the maximum possible time)
