Upgrade or change motherboard?

I am 2 motherboard+ asus m3a78 percents phenom x4 9650. I think whether or not this put motherboard phenom 965 though HT is not the same, or change the mother to put 4300? The option of buying a newer PC is no longer a limited budget.

How much of a budget? If the choice of only these two systems, the FX 4300 would be better of course. Well, the video card also plays a role.
