Questions for the EXPERTS! (No Man's Sky)

First question: I Bought the Nexus three drawing translators(Simple, Quality, Advanced). Does it make sense to put everything, or you can set only the top(Advanced). Added up anything if I install everything next to each other? And how do these translators work? Is already two, but from them I sense in conversations with strangers I didn't notice.
Second question: does it make sense to put the technology next to each other, they kind of frame highlight when you put them together, but gives it some kind of bonus - I did not understand. But try to put all in the same area.
