Exit to main menu (Metro 2033)

I have a problem: I can't get the menu when you press ESCAPE! When I entered the game, management was not assigned, had to exit the game using Alt+F4 to reassign keys. The technical problems so MUCH! Hell break a leg! Maybe somebody can help me with the output in the menu?

Yes, but if a new user.cfg is re-created? And so the whole bind changemenumap kESCAPE deleted? What to do in this case?
