The problem with the mouse (Dead Space)

I passed the 2nd part, and out of boredom decided to go 1st. But faced with a terrible problem: mouse control is not ale. Feel like playing on the gamepad. Shamans in settings with sensitivity — did not help. This is as it should be, or the problem I have? There are ways to solve this?

In the second and third parts management is much more direct, it's more under shuterny gameplay sharpened. The first part is by definition uncomfortable then horror, and hard to aim and the feeling that you yourself in this damn engineering suit locked. It has always been, as I remember, so conceived. (but what an adrenaline, when it is necessary without delay to get at the weak spot of the boss).

The game has problems Trims, but I think specifically controls - this feature.
