The connection to the server(via modem) (World of Warcraft)

You have a server wow legion 7.3.5 at Trinity. here my wife and I want to play together using Wi-Fi router. Where and what the ip should be changed so that it can connect to?(forgot we had somehow connected) and do I need to open ports on the modem?
