overclocking AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+

Good day dear. There was a small problem with overclocking this device. Turned to raise performance from 2.20 to 2.42 MHz. The above is not the Kauai values are set as follows:
CPU - 220
PCI-E -101
A multiplier of x11.0
Voltage not touched

processor AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
motherboard Gigabyte M68M-S2P
vidyuhi GeForce 9500 GT
RAM 3GB

Rzgan this so to speak CPU ,any increase in their productivity will not ,can not even bother

Increasing the CPU frequency preparation causes elevation in the frequency of operational pamyati (acceleration pamyati). I recommend to reduce the frequency of operational pamyati also lower the timings. Pamive may not be accelerated because of this blue screen/not starting system.

Kilon88 to disperse percents it is also simultaneously increasing bus frequency Hyper Transport, and memory frequency, respectively, should be reduced in the BIOS the frequency of bus Hyper Transport and memory frequency.

Changing the frequency of the RAM . The same vanity above 220 in any. The system does not start.

The enormous frequency of Altoona those times certainly didn't take. Well, no video card.

Purely by chance came across the thread, let think will sacrobosco. I have the collection of screenshots there - just recently I had a patient. Ancient iron already, do not drive sorry. So... on the box dusty cooler, 60 degrees core at the peak load of the FPU, and this is not the limit acceleration:

If the mother does not support the setting of the HT multiplier, (check the Ctrl+F1 in the BIOS, if that appears Advanced Chipset Configuration) to overclock higher than 2.5 will not work, HyperTransport swears. And so it is possible to 3 cents, depending on the quality of the stone and cooling.

I once broke up Athlone 2x 4000+, only up to 2600 MHz on a good motherboard (ASUS M2N-E) cooler Zalman CNPS7600. With extensive overclock the system was unstable. Most likely culled AMD processors at the time.

a good motherboard in terms of overclocking. Gigabyte M52L-S3 on nForce chip. Stock cooler, dusty and old, in the following screenshot, the temperature reached 70 in the stress test. Well, AMD and so hot, Sandra showed 78.9 per watt output, with face value of 65. The overclocking was done only on the bus, and the mother pulls 270 and, theoretically, will take 280 if not all 300, just under the arm in addition Athlone nothing to spend benchmarks. BIOS enabled to reduce the HT multiplier from 5 to 4-3-2, otherwise about any overclocking and speech could not be - HT 1090 and the mother bent, and so all life and joyfully sings... 33% stable overclocking, Aida three hours valiantly spend too much time on PERC, and then another, slightly S&M walked. I also want to note that voltmod was not - 1.300 volts on the stone base. Overclock a third? Children's toys.

quickly looking at that Mat Board is not topic and most likely a micro ATX for overclocking once you can skip Peck hand

Very lucky with the stone. ?

Brisbane itself is a well-chases, much more depends on the mother and direct the hands than on cooling and luck. The peak of the frequency - 3100 (6000+).
To 2930 MHz had to drop fixed 1.300 volts on manual. Now he ranges from 1.325 to 1.350, the temperature in FPU-test to 75 comes. If to scalp and replace the factory was obviously long stone thermal paste, everything will be fine.
