The Kaidan or Ashley? That is the question (Mass Effect 3)

Personally I've always liked Kayden and I can explain why.
I the whole series through three times. Two times with Kaidan, and once (via the save editor) and Ashley, just to see how it will affect the plot ( but barely survived her modes in the third part).
