The bug with the destruction of the cover from grenades(or not a bug?) (XCOM 2)

Below is a video that describes the problem.
Generally shoot a grenade that explodes 4 cells away from me and himself standing in the shelter. After the explosion, hidden in which I'm standing explodes. It seems that the destruction of that tree which was the Grenadier provoked the destruction of a nearby wood, although I'm not sure.

And I think that this is not a bug. Red hemisphere delineates the area that will damage enemies and the Grenadier. As I understand the physics of the game at the level and in order not to clutter up the interface, display secondary effects on the environment in the calculation of the explosion is not specified.

Nonsense, the damage is given, in descending order, from the center of the hemisphere to the edges. Here we see that the destroyed shelter, which is incredibly far from the blast radius (that is not even a neighboring shelter, which can be seen upstairs in the moment of the explosion, there just did not get to blast). Some of it is exactly not intended.
