Ysmir - Pelinal Whitestrake? (The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim)

Going into today in the article about Ysmir in the Wiki

I found in the beginning of the article quote from a book called Before the ages of man which lists the names, under which were known Ysmir, among which was the name Pelinal Whitestrake. All the facts say that it can't be... They lived in different eras, representing different races and Pelinal is a robot-a cyborg from the future who was not Ysmir. All the evidence suggests that they are two completely different personalities, but the book, which exists in oblivion and Skyrim tells us otherwise. That Pelinal Whitestrake is one of the names by which was known Ysmir. How can this be and is it truthful information?

Interesting question, however)
I think there was a view that Wulfharth, Ysmir, Swaddled Whitestrake is not one person, and reincarnation, they are still in the game called Sassarini, or avatars of Lorkhan. Most likely just a joint of translated in our localization.
Video on filling:
Spoiler

PS: on the wiki just says that it's all reincarnation.

Yes, it looks plausible. We ought to read the original version of this book... I Prefer to be my own localizer) But the trick is that in the article about Ysmir nowhere does it say that he was an incarnation of Lorkhan. But about Pelinal and it is said that this is one of the most probable theories of its appearance. Or just a book that was written by some drunk Nord with a glass of honey in the nearest tavern, and here we head to break. Who knows, who knows)

And that's the way the English version of this book:

Also during the Late Merethic Era the legendary immortal hero, warrior, and king variously known as Pelinal Whitestrake, Harrald Hairy Breeks, Ysmir, Hans the Fox, etc., wandered Tamriel, gathering armies, conquering lands, ruling, then abandoning his kingdoms to wander again.

And here is what I noticed... the Name Wulfharth there is not mentioned. And Ysmir is rather a title than a name. But I have to confess that localizer did not bad. There really says about the great hero, known under different names, such as Ysmir, Pelinal Whitestrake, some kind of Harald and Hans the Fox. Just wanted to say that the developers probably remains a mystery, but the fact remains. Localizers have provided us with the correct translation. It remains to understand what it eventually leads.

Maybe you have something confused and there instead of Ismier were, say, shore? Because Pelinal's exactly a hundred percent - is the embodiment thereof in Nirn. Ismier the same - it's just a title, not a name, and this title means dragon of the North, whom Pelinal in principle can not be. Ismira was Wolfort, Talos, and of our dragonborn. With Pelinal probably an error either your own perception or localizers :)
