If that is true, then judging by the support, PCI 4.0, which will come only in 2019, waiting for these processors is the year to 20th, or even later.
Happy, by the way, the fact that the world of computing, and of Intel in particular has finally move to a new interface with more capacity. You can simplify the topology of the motherboard and to release additional bus lines, for PCI 4.0 card will be enough 8 lines instead of 16 while maintaining the speed at the level of PCI 3.0. So I see here the supported CPUs 48 lines of PCE (now flagship 7980XE supports only 44), which gives the opportunity to assemble a high performance system with 3 graphics cards in mode x16/x16/x16 instead of x16/x16/x8.
