Why the new HP is much worse than the old?

Hi all,

A year ago I bought a HP 17-g152ur (CPU: amd a8 7410) to replace the old HP g7-2254sr - rt 3290 (CPU: core i5-3210m). Especially not played, but I had some free time. Began to include games and realized that the new laptop they're going noticeably slower, and some which ran on the old - shamelessly lag at all (except for those on the old video card is not drawn).

Added in a new laptop frame (now 8GB) and SSD, but proposes no less.

Believe that the old Intel better AMD more new (though as I understand it, they have a 4 fold difference in price). But maybe I don't understand something. Ideas?

If CPU, is it possible in such configuration, the transfer processor HP g7-2254sr, the HP 17-g152ur? Or any other tricks.

just look at the processor specifications.
i5 with frequency up to 3 GHz (TDP at 35ватт) and L3 cache.
A8 with frequency up to 2.5 GHz (TDP of 15!!!watts) without L3.
amdshnye although it has 4 full cores, will not be able to work at level 2-nuclear i5.

and in General, laptops are not for gaming (except those that go with 1ххх gth generation and a full processor from Intel).

1. Games are old and very old.
2. 1024x768 on medium is also a mode for the game. And even Radeon R7 M360 with 2GB might have something to pull a permit.
