Need a monitor with g-sync 27\" IPS
well, people, I think to atdalit and buy a large monitor with good resolution, normal and diagonal ips and not tn generally thought that models will be less, it turned out that a lot of them and what to take at all XS. I would not like to leave more 55к that it is better to take?Justaz wrote:

In 2018 to pay for 55к monitor 1080p, you're out of your mind? Better still docopy 55к, and buy a normal ips 4K monitor.
And 1080p I would recommend a Dell UltraSharp and it is not other model, they are all good, if you're interested it is the quality of the image.
Well, a man wants to yourself cool gaming monitor 55к, then let them take, the more that money can buy in 2K resolution.
Dell good Monica, but expensive, Acer is full of shit, from good it is possible to take ASUS, Iiyama or ViewSonic

We do have a choice, I'm in a similar situation, to Jul need a fully updated hardware and Monica, so they also analyze the market. The last thing that went: https://4k-monitor.ru/reviews/smelaya_popytka_obzor_i_testirovanie_igrovogo_wqhd_monitora_viewsonic_xg2703_gs/
Don't understand the indignation of the brow above, as if the price tag for the resolution of the display is exposed like this... And the fact that Monica can be the frequency of 120-165 Hz, high-quality matrix, good viewing angles and a bunch of gaming chips, NVIDIA G-Sync and so on. such a high price do not form according to the user Gera95? Definitely a minus post.
Enough full hd resolution person, that's his business.
If you take 4k Monique, don't forget about a very powerful stuffing in the comp! One videhoe does not pay off, because this permission is VERY much even has mega top computers with the super demanding games!
TS about the resolution is nothing written, so we will advise based only on budget. And the budget is not judged, there is such a, 55к dokinut not everyone can in a short time. From the queries we have 27 inch g-sync and IPS. For those brands that is offered good Monique is from ViewSonic, for example. Model XG2703-GS 165 Hz frequency, HDMI and DisplayPort, 4 MS response time. Sounds good to me.

Yeah Gee, I think anyone would like this Monique took with pleasure. And judging by the PITS, you can get it for 40 thousand, much cheaper than TC outlined the budget. Resolution WQHD 2560x1440 by the way, even better. The delay for the IPS of matrices are very low, there are situations much worse.
Well, maybe not any, but described the requests, it seems to fall. Yes, the IPS-matrix is usually higher the response time, well, any much more price. So here for good money, you can grab a full game Monique. To me it still looks like, narrow frame along the contour. However the manufacturer wrote the reason that the active area of the screen is only 84% of the total area, visually somehow different I think.

You're pinned, or really believe that?

with a good IPS
ViewSonic® XG2703-GS is the ideal monitor for players who require ultimate performance,
It isn't any good ips matrix, it is not stated by the manufacturer (AHVA matrix aka IPS-type).
Settings appropriate, can compare with my ips premium standard.
AHVA is color IMHO not worse. And AHVA is IPS the same with modifications. Here are the stats on views: https://www.displayspecifications.com/ru/model/40f676f
Gera95, please comment on what specific options your premium IPS is better and that you have a model...

Who said such nonsense?
This is an attempt to mix TN and IPS. It turned out so-so. In comparison with tn picture better, but ips is no comparison, because the reduced color reproduction 8-10-fold, with the result that this matrix does not support any color format ips.
This tn with modifications and not ips.

In the profile specified.

Why with something to compare? XG2703-GS is a great monitor for gaming (and the key word here for GAMES) and it had very good image quality and keeps 120-165 Hz and has a relatively good speed of the matrix. What else you need to gamers? is your monitor? the speed of the matrix no, 4K well, if only the very rich gamers to have a couple of GTX 1080 ti, gertsovka a measly 60 Hz. I think the choice here is obvious.
MagicHero wrote:

I have a 980Ti.

Between playing in 120фпс, or playing with HDR10, PremierColor, X-rite, Rec.2020, etc. personally, I will choose the latter. It is a matter of personal choice and not imposing. Someone chooses a fps, one image, because it is pathetic 165Гц can't give a picture, which give a measly 60Hz, one or the other.
Yeah, largely a matter of taste. But in games without a good gertsovki and quick response in any way. All the same, 165 Hz, 4 MS, and G-Sync will do the job for a maximally smooth image. And the image in this XG2703-GS is not so bad that it would so smash. Standard brightness and contrast adjustment, BACKLIT, sRGB.
Gera95
All the things you mentioned except HDR in the game you are the difference with XG2703-GS will not see. But the speed matrix and the ability to put shooters 120 Hertz to see a simple.

And what is the point in a 4K monitor then? to play at 30 fps and even lowering the graphics to at least 30 fps was )))

And no one, and Gromit, here's what I declare:

It is necessary to understand the absurdity of this statement. I want to own productive monitor, it's your business, but do not claim that he has a high-quality matrix, it is absurd. High quality matrix ips the Premium category, as it was before, so it is now.

Yeah.
Spoiler
Fallout 4 from 4K only supports permission, all the rest of the monitor.

Envy, feels bad.

I do not understand what you wrote and why I posted the screenshots because you yourself know that on my crummy monitor, I can't appreciate the beauty of your screenshots )))

OMG I just brought the fact that it is pointless to buy a 4K monitor if the video subsystem is not allowed to play on this 4K. And to play at 30 fps or with reduced graphics (although judging by your comments the picture quality above all else) is just silly.

Here are a couple of insights on your monitor
Disadvantages:
The low accuracy of the factory settings, including in manufacturer-specific modes sRGB and AdobeRGB (for the first time among those tested by the author of the series displays UP).
You cannot activate the system to compensate for uneven illumination in emulation modes color spaces;
Problems with conduct the calibration via the built-in LUT (when you turn off the monitor or change its settings, modes for the calibration are set to zero, and that and worse...);
High price (100,000 rubles).
May not suit:
The lack of a backlight control keys, not very convenient to work in the absence of external light;
Expanded color gamut and its inherent characteristics and problems;
High load on the system and problems associated with the need to use scaling in the OS and third party software;
HDR only works in modes Game and Movie, and the greatest effect and accuracy of the content with embedded support HDR10 (it is small and hard to get);
Some confusion can change the brightness of the backlight areas (significantly in certain circumstances and what is happening on the screen);
The lack of support for Daisy-Chain (MST in the interpretation of Dell) to connect a second display directly to the first, bypassing PC;
The new 384-conditioning lighting in General does not affect the uniformity of illumination, although many are waiting...;
Only 60 Hz and the absence of any adaptive sync – however, it's a professional monitor;
Glow-effect is present in full measure.
In conclusion, the review UP2718Q from Dell it is worth adding that the model is a professional monitor with high class intended only for serious designers. Offering true 10-bit IPS panel with a variety of color spaces, support HDR10 and factory calibrated, this monitor exceeds the majority of HDR displays and therefore worth its price. By cons should not be attributed to the fact that UP2718Q clearly not for gamers.
Your monitor to work just perfect and I understand how you work, and for games is not suitable. Looking at the picture quality between what was offered and your in games is pointless you just can't see anything. Yes, sometimes games do not use such coverage is in contrast to the Trac task. the games have defined all the colors and the monitor there is nothing to give or your in some sort of game that uses 256 colors your monitor will put everything on the shelves and give already a billion ))) no my friend there was like 256 colors will remain, and so in all the other games. Although there is probably your monitor will display these 256 colors in a perfect quality, red not everywhere will be red and blue or green and I honestly don't know what will come in the chip monitor when he decides to 256 colors to make a billion ))))))))))

About this I have already spoken here: http://forums.playground.ru/hardware/monitor/pochemu_ips_a_ne_amva-833434/
Everything else is no less nonsense. His only disadvantage today, is the price. All other defects that describe stem from it. :DD))
