Can't put the resolution of 1920 x 1080
It was like this. I sent a Win7 64 system in sleep mode, everything worked well, coming in 7 hours find the computer awake, which is weird... but the sad fact is that there has been some malfunction of either the monitor or the graphics card. Became unavailable a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and the resolution settings are displayed other non-native resolution, although usually there were only 4-5 of them, and became more than a dozen. (Monitor Full HD 1920 x 1080 native)I reinstalled the graphics driver several times. Changed the cable and adapter (VGA+DVI). Changed the MONITOR. Changed the video card (or rather used the integrated graphics in the motherboard, and the 6950 just gave away). Danced with a tambourine. Downloaded the drivers for both monitors, but they have not corrected the situation and in solutions, there is still no native resolution. Some way the left could put 1920 1080 but probably by interpolation because the image twitched slightly and the look was very difficult. I don't know what to do... tell me...
Delete the video driver. Using the program Driver Sweeper remove AMD display driver remnants in safe mode.
Then in normal mode install the driver.
Did everything as you said. When installing drivers there was any error, was a yellow icon at the end, but nothing about the error in the log was not written. In the end, all returned in the same condition, i.e. native resolution or not.
I also want to add that I have two Windows 7 64, on separate disks of course. They died the same night at the same time, i.e., the error is not related to the operation of the system, although the computer lately had a habit to join himself or come out from sleep without my intervention (but only if the ghosts could include).
I have also read about similar problems and people were not helped even reinstalling system, but I probably will soon try to do the same, although there is no hope.
The problem is solved. Needed to use CCC to set the desired resolution and apply, then put it in settings screen Resolution "...... but I don't understand still why earlier all worked without these fads, and has now become so... new drivers of ATI?
I don't know... my/my HD 6950 had no such problems.. Driver updates on a monthly basis.
