Relationship (Fallout 4)

I guess the question seem moronic, but still
do I have to enter into a LOVING relationship with a companion, to give you a special perk? Or the relationship can be increased to a maximum, thereby obtaining the perk, without flirting?

The main thing that your relationship with the satellite was 100%, once they reach 100%, then you get the perk. Flirting with a partner is not required.

Come out of the dialogue, ENTER, save before choosing and try both.
