Looking for a movie..help

Description looks like so: model girl is coming to another city to become an actress meets a guy in the subway..key action he throws her hat into the ring. the guy writes songs, sings in the bar. The heroine of the fate of the troupe of actors meets as it turns out with his girlfriend and their fate again brings. He and a friend, in turn, decide to make him a star..and adds to the interest of the public. The guy has a dog that rides a skateboard. At the end of the film she tries to escape.. he catches up with her in the plane, flying in different classes and he asked the flight attendant to throw her hat into the ring as when they first met.
