Question for the collector vehicle. (Subnautica)

Subnautica came out of EA. Then realized should already be drained. When you run the old saves to the log and added a couple of records and drawings. Through the collector of the transport trying to make the launch pad, but the collector, as before, just eats resources and stops responding. Before the release on early access I have assumed that the game just yet continue. But now I have a question: should I start a new game to make all working properly? Maybe I was just lucky to catch such a bug? Or the end of the story hasn't come up?
