Question on damage (Dying Light)

Hello, a question: recently played in the cooperative, where the kid had a revolver with 250 000 damage, and the Golden cat, so this is the norm or cheating?

It cheats. During the Christmas event I've seen a lot of cheaters and such. They do not even hide it.
