Pirate version(of the problem) (The Surge)

Hello everybody I have this game on F5 and F8 doesn't work,dying in the med Bay appear,plus the first boss when he killed me I decided to press Alt F4 every time,and then want to play the game and not there's only new game is available...
The game has a limit of life and death?! or is it a bug in the game?!
please help solve the problem!
