Downloaded and installed the latest version of this program. But for some reason when I click right button on which a film to open with this program lists other programs to open and this sees. The program is installed correctly, and through it you can access any movie. Tell me what to do in such a situation or how another way to customize the file open using a specific program.open Media Player Classic,go to the tab -->view-->options-->formats and set the checkboxes as in the screenshot when put click APPLY and OK everything!
if not then RIGHT click on the video to OPEN WITH, and then as in the screenshot below, select Media Player Classic and put a tick and click OK
if this does not work download it and put it...
Hi all, I will write at the same time here my problem, maybe someone knows how to solve it
But the problem is this - why is an inactive player as a standard feature automatic updates, although I'm player wasn't doing anything. Maybe someone knows how to solve this problem or where did it come from??

MPHC from K-Lite Codec Pack? If Yes, then auto update was specifically disabled, the user update the entire package and not just the player.

Yes, this K-Lite Codec Pack. but why then the option to enter even if it is inactive

Yes, with offsite http://mpc-hc.sourceforge.net/ . There's just somehow a maniac with an older version.
Installed the latest version. Not much, fell back to 1.6.9. In the latest versions of the player for some reason stopped the video to pick up the appropriate set in the system language audio track. Plus, gone is the flexibility of action at the end of the file playback: now there is by default always chosen do nothing and to play the next folder of video files is required each time you start the player not to forget to go there... you used to be able to choose the default action, change its context menu during playback at any time, and set a single action. My application scenario: day often look videos or TV series (not only me, during all household chores, or just for the background when guests come - well, etc.) and have consistent playback. We as fans put the movie before going to sleep and for him to fall asleep in this embodiment, useful one-time change to, for example, to close the player, after this action turns off the monitor and the computer will hibernate.
In General, rocked a new version in hopes of increased stability with avisynth, everything else is arranged. However, that functionality was cut, the size of the buttons is increased (and they do not need, by the way - only the navigation bar file), convenience in General fell, the thingy from your old smartphone to WP8 stopped working - and even playing with the new version SVP uses avisynth script, the stability is not in the least increased. In the end, restored the usual 1.6.9.
PS would Not advise to install K-Lite and his ilk. In the mishmash of encoders and decoders with different settings, outstanding under an hour completely unpredictable result. It is sufficient to install only one ffdshow, which is all they need and it won't overload the player interface, able to pick up the context menu, filters, tracks, subtitles... In the case of K-Lite (I confess, is sinful - had also enjoyed) I have often had a few switch tracks, menu is overloaded with a bunch of unnecessary, it was hard to get a quality sound sometimes... Video renderers what I wanted, and often used absolutely sub-optimal or even obsolete render. The picture could be some noise or artifacts that I usually just blamed on poor-quality original or the compression of a Converter. Got rid of K-Lite - and the picture returned to normal, and with the sound now it's simple: WASAPI (I have Win7) and audio in the form in which it is recorded in the file, without distortion. And videos (any) - the fly using MPC-HC looks in 60 fps (svp own algorithm calculates the intermediate frames, and even has its own Shader) to be in sync with the frequency of the monitor and making the image very smooth.
