The game for undead (Divinity: Original Sin 2)

I wanted to ask whether it makes sense to play for the undead in terms of plot,it is not FEIN,and created character,whether its God in the halls of Echo and changes in the dialogues with the same FEIN,because the replica in the beginning of the game with him is built by default ,does the choice of the undead cardinal narrative picture game or just a mechanic and appear cues from the icon near the undead answers?
