The memory 2400 running at 2133
The prehistory...Stood placket 8Gb (2400 cl16)
After some time, ordered in the same shop the same, BUT... Here's the strap not quite the one that bought the first time. If the first was with the radiator and with the above characteristics, the new was already without the radiator (although this stuff)... the Main thing lies in the fact that the new strap already cl15. Although all the markings on the straps are the same (one is just the R747G2400U2S-U). So newly made strap is not running at the indicated frequency to 2400 and 2133 only gives. I'm not strong, but I suspect that the case in the new RAM timings and what the hell does not run on 2400. Here's the question... is it Possible to somehow resolve this problem?
PS to Return the bar is not an option because I was just too rushed and all the deadlines have already passed.
Ie new RAM makes work and the first at low frequencies, and would like to avoid. Just as interesting is the question of opposition to 2133 vs 2400 cl15 cl16. Is there a real benefit from increased frequency, but with higher timings?
If the new memory characteristics should work on the 2400, but doesn't work, so does the timing do not matter. There is clearly a poor quality product, which can be treated within the entire warranty period. But here we must understand. Put in the motherboard only one memory bar (new) and see what happens. If it will work at 2400, then you have to study the manual for the motherboard. There will be written what kind of strap and how can you put and at what frequency they together will be able to work. If the new plank being installed one at 2400 not working, then it is definitely a warranty case, because the memory is defective.
