Is it possible to restore the last loaded save game (folder current). But obviously you already tried to load a broken save game, so that's no help.

When during the save there are any problems (turned off the light, turned off comp, etc.), do not rush to load your save game, save game in 99% of cases will be broken, and that you'll only hurt yourself. Typically, these saves have a white screen in menu downloads.
To restore this backup saves, then you just need to transfer all files from the current to the folder with the save slot (savegame1 - savegame20), removing from there all the files.
The current folder is the folder with the save (C:\\Games\Gothic 2\saves\current)

Anyway, to remain 1 slot - not a good idea, despite the fact that the game is available for 20 slots.
