New video card not working

Hello, all!
monitor - Acer al1716 vga
processor - AMD FX-4130
Mat. Board - asus m5a78l-m le
memory - 4gb ddr3
power supply - FSP ATX550PNR
case standard
current graphics card - nvidia geforce gt 240
In addition, connected 2 hdd, optical drive, one strap RAM to 4 gig, the whole system for about 4 years.
I bought a new graphics card from inno3d 1050 ti (without additional power), yesterday, the graphics card came and the whole evening I tried to start. Connected to the monitor through adapter hdmi-vga. Old drivers removed, the card works and is defined as standard vga as soon as I put the driver disk in the box, the computer asks to reboot and after that the signal on the monitor does not go, although the background sound of loading Windows. The problem is the lack of additional power or something maybe? Thanks in advance

The card is defective most likely. Carry it back.

The problem is in the adapter. 1000 series does not support analog signal, so either change the monitor or the adapter (if a simple cable hdmi-vga it will not work, you need a special adapter)
