Does not change the resolution in any games

I play very new and not very powerful hardware (i7 4710MQ + GeForce 940M), so used in the new games lower the resolution to 720p (native 900p, so not very noticeable), not to play with very very flawed graphics. Decided on the head to upgrade the wood on the video card (mostly because of Rage 2, which refused to run, arguing that you need to download for it spicdriver from GeForce Experience), after which there was a problem - sanity to change the resolution more difficult. Now you can only play in native resolution of my screen (ie, 900p). If I try to do it below, the game turns into just a window on a black background. Below is attached a screenshot of the Mordhau, to be clear, about what speech. This is a photo from your phone, because even a screenshot of the real situation, the computer refuses to do (they just go full screen).

Without thinking, I rolled the wood on the previous version, but (surprise) nothing has changed. The Almighty Google to find a solution to not out - the impression that I'm the one faced with this problem. Restore points, no change display resolution before entering the game is also not an option, so how to capture all labels, and make a second display on Windows 8.1 sanity impossible.

Does anybody know how to solve this crap?

UPD. This does not mean that I solved the problem, but not to suffer with 25 fps I cleaned out the Desk and placed the labels in two columns, so they are not mixed when changing the resolution manually. Now before every entrance in the game where you need to change the resolution, change it through the control panel. Laugh at me
