Compatibility of video Card and processor.

CPU type: TripleCore AMD Athlon II X3 440, 3000 MHz (15 x 200)
Motherboard: MSI 770-C45 (MS-7599) (3 PCI, 2 PCI-E x1, 1 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR3 DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN)

Does it make sense to buy a GeForce GTX 1050 ? And if not, what would you recommend ?
